The Memorial and Humble Petition

of ADA CHARLOTTE SACHSE (commonly

known as Georgina Ada Sachse)

of Victoria in the Colony of Hong-

Kong,Widow.

1. Your Petitioner was born of British parents at

Glasgow in Scotland on the 29th day of May 1864. She was the

daughter of James McIntosh, of British Nationality, who was born

and lived in Scotland. Her mother's maiden name was Harriett

McIntosh, who was first cousin of the said James McIntosh; she

was also of British Nationality.

2. Your Petitioner left Scotland in the year 1889 to

come to Hongkong for the purpose of being married to Georg

Franz Robert Sachse, a German subject.

She was married to the said Georg Franz Robert Sachse

at St.John's Cathedral,Victoria aforesaid, on the 5th day of

June,1889,and has permanently resided in the Colony of Hongkong

since that date. The said Georg Franz Robert Sachse died on

the 29th day of December, 1901.
